Going traditional for Karwa Chauth kitty

In times where everybody likes to flaunt western clothes, this kitty group decided to go traditional as this one was themed around Karwa Chauth.
Host Palak Jindal from Agar Nagar floated the idea that since it is Karwa Chauth, they should all wear traditional, and everybody was game! "The festival season is on and everybody in our group has this fetish for going traditional on festival-related themes, be it teej, Karwa Chauth or Diwali kitty.As our next kitty would fall after Karwa Chauth, we decided to stick to that for theme," she says.
All members, some of them newly-weds, wore floor length suits. The bright colours hinted at festive and merrymaking times in the city, loud and clear.
Another member Gikki Khurana shared, "It was such a lovely theme. In times when our dressing sense has become so westernized, it feels fun to get all decked up, wear bangles and bindis. I love traditional themes for kitty."
Although the members will be having a footloose party on October 11, Karwa-themed kitty offered delicious food to gorge on and members had a gala time while dancing to the tunes of the DJ and playing tambola at the kitty.
